What’s behind a 125 year company history? Well, for example, more than 100 million scales sold; 4,000 different types of scales; sales revenue of 160 million DM. On September 11, 1993 there was a huge party for friends and workers of the company as well as over 4,500 visitors.
With the continual implementation of the new plant, Soehnle took a giant leap into a new dimension. As many scales were produced each month in 1993 as during the entire year of 1969. The increased sales fueled the gradual expansion of the plant through 1988.
In 1991 6 million scales were produced – a new production record. 1992 the 100 millionth Soehnle scale to be produced since the factory was founded in Murrhardt was manufactured. Production had grown 10 fold in 21 years.
